In our lodge we welcome your pets. Accommodations need to be arranged in advance with the manager and the additional costs for each dog for each night are the followings: €10.00 for small size, €15.00 for medium size, €20.00 for large size.
Food and water bowls, sleeping crib will be provided.
We reserve the right to not accept reservations different from what was agreed on the phone.

From September to July, guests can use the kitchen, equipped with everything needed for cooking, at an additional charge per night.

The breakfast is included in the price of your accommodation and is served between 8 and 9:30 a.m. If you have particular requirements, please inform us and we will arrange it.

We do our best to use mainly organic foods and local products. We have different kinds of tea (green or red, flavored and decaffeinated), infusions, as well as coffee, barley and chicory, milk, vegetable milk, fruit juices, bread, butter, homemade jams, muesli, cookies and cakes.

We do not provide restaurant service.
On request, we can provide our guests with lunch and/or dinner with traditional Abruzzo dishes and local products.

The lodge is the ideal place for people who enjoy an active and experiential stay. By staying in Otium-casadegliescursionisti you can enjoy:

These are just a few of the hiking trails accessible from Castrovalva or just a couple of minutes away. If requested by our guests, Vanessa will be happy to prepare a detailed itinerary of the most suitable trails or suggest others.

There are several transportation options to reach the refuge in Castrovalva (Anversa degli Abruzzo).

1. Private transportation: You can reach the lodge using your own car. The exact address of the lodge will be provided when booking.
2. On foot: walking along geological trail No. 18, which starts at the Cavuto springs (Anversa degli Abruzzi).

If you want to travel by public transportation, you can:

1. Reach Anversa degli Abruzzi by taking the TUA line bus from Sulmona to Scanno and get off at Anversa degli Abruzzi. We will pick you up by bus stop at no additional cost.
2. Reach Sulmona by train (from Rome, Pescara or L’Aquila) and then take the bus to Anversa degli Abruzzi. Otherwise, you can contact us to arrange the transfer.
